TILE PAINTING

Required Materials:
1. Texture white
2. White cement
3. Solvent based glass colours
4. Brushes
5. Design
6. Carbon paper
7. Tile - plain
8. Plastic sheet(make it into a cone)
9. Varnish

Method:
1. Trace the design on the tile using carbon paper.
2. Mix texture white and white cement in the ratio 3:1 and fill it in the cone.
3. Draw the outline using this mixture on the tile.
4. Allow the mixture to dry.
5. Fill it with glass colours. Shading can be given using brushes.
6. There should be no air bubbles.
7. Allow it to dry completely.
8. Give a coat of varnish and frame.

POT PAINTING

Pot painting with marble effect

Required Items:
1. Earthern pot
2. Enamel paint-White.
3. Fabric colour - Red
4. Flat brushes
5. Varnish
6. Water
7. Emery paper

Method:
1. Take the pot and smoothen it with emery paper.
2. Apply enamel paint on it below the neck of the pot.
3. Take the fabric colour, dilute it with minimum water.
4. When the enamel paint is three-fourth dry, apply diluted fabric paint over the enamel paint.
5. Leave aside for few minutes.
6. You will see a wondering marbling effect.
7. Apply a coat of varnish.
