- The child is 3+ years of age and if she is able to communicate verbally with others.
- She should be toilet trained to some extent.
- She should be comfortable during the school hours.
- She should express the desire to go to school.

Guide to moms
In India the prescribed minimum age for school is 4+ years.Before this the child can go to play school.Normally a good playschool takes the children only after 2 1/2 years of age.But I recommend only if :

This is great suggesition. But I like to add few more points for moms:
First speak to children about school and create a desire in them to see a school and get into it.
Second Play and Learn is a great method. So do not expect your child to tell 1 - 10 even before he/she gets into a play school. You learn everything loud the child will learn by itself.
